The event headquarters, Complex Esportiu Futbol Salou quickly transformed into a hub of excitement, with young athletes from prestigious clubs such as FC Barcelona, AFC Ajax, Manchester City, FC Internazionale Milano, Atlético Madrid, Sporting Clube, RCD Espanyol, Girona FC, Rayo Vallecano, Getafe FC, Granada FC and SD Huesca coming together for a weekend of top-tier competition.
The sight of jerseys from different nations blending into one community perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the tournament: unity through football.
Opening Night: A Party to Remember
The tournament was not just about competition, it was about celebration. The opening ceremony was an amazing affair, filled with music, dance, and inspiring speeches. The highlight? Champions Crowned: A Special Moment with Jordi Cruyff
After four days of breathtaking football, champions emerged in various categories:
U10: Granada took home the title, with Sporting Portugal as runners-up.
U12: Ajax FC triumphed, beating FC Barcelona.
U14: Atlético Madrid claimed victory over Barcelona.
U16: Marcet Football A outshone Girona FC in a tight contest.
U19: Atlético Madrid reigned supreme once again, with Rayo Vallecano finishing second.
Individually, standout players such as Hossam Bnihich (FCB), John Destiny (FCB), Emir Bulguchev (ATM), Unai Jiménez (Girona), and Rafael Braganza (Rayo Vallecano) made a lasting impression, earning MVP honors in their respective categories. Among the goalkeepers, Leo Ortega (Granada), Mauro Artigot (FCB), Milo Diddendorp (Ajax), Jordi Rabasa (Marcet), and Victor Barrio (Marcet) showcased exceptional talent between the posts.
Adding to the prestige of the event, Jordi Cruyff and Danny Coster, son and wife of the legendary Johan Cruyff, were present to award the winners.
